INSULATED DOUBLE-WALL SPIRAL PIPE AND FITTINGS

SPIROCOUSTIC
Double-wall spiral pipe and fittings are used when noise generated by the fan and by air mouvement is an important design criteria and must be attenuated.

These ducts are fabricated with a perforated 22 gauge galvanized metal inner liner, acoustical insulation, and a solid galvanized outer shell.
Standard insulation thicknesses are 1" and 2".
Typical installation joints are slip joints, with male pipe ends and female fitting ends.


SPIROTHERMIC
Thermally insulated double wall ducts are used when heat transfer is an important design criteria in an air duct system.
Construction is basically the same as above, with the exception that the inner linner is made of a solid galvanized steel.
